Educational Initiatives

Throughout our 30-year history, Mission Harvest America (MHA) has been a strong proponent of quality education. Listed are some of our ongoing initiatives in education:

Community Health Worker care outreach for Native American tribal groups in the Southeast United States.

Christian Education, setting up extension Bible College programs in Liberia, South Africa, Uganda, Argentina, and Haiti.

Chaplaincy and disaster responder training and certification.

Taongi National University, Liberia

Mission Harvest America works in partnership with the International Education Professional Accreditation Association (IEPAA). MHA is assisting with Taongi National University (TNU),  which is the only Post-Secondary school in Lower Bong County, Liberia. TNU has 100 acres on which to build, and over 400 students are waiting to enroll.

Chaplaincy and Crisis Response Training

Mission Harvest America (MHA), through its partnership with Heartland Response, offers chaplaincy and crisis response training and certifications. Heartland Response was formed for the purpose of uniting individuals, corporations and non-profit organizations to prepare for any form of crisis or disaster by working together to respond to all areas of emergency and crisis response. Heartland Response conducts workshops, hosts conferences and provides speakers at public and private gatherings to teach preparedness, disaster response and recovery crisis management. Heartland Response specializes in law enforcement, corporate, and crisis chaplaincy. Plans are underway to establish a Compassion Training Institute which will offer online trainings as well as live, in person, class sessions.
